- Gross pay is €2,500 a month.

- You work in a small product team with code review on every change.
- Every candidate is verified once: identity, skills, references and a video interview.
A fintech company in Tallinn is growing its customer portal across the Baltic countries and needs another pair of hands on the web side. They asked AfterWorc to find a mid-level web developer for a fixed-term contract. We cannot name the client in public, but we can tell you exactly what the job is.
What you will work on
The portal is where the company's customers log in, see their accounts and manage their services. It is live, it has real users, and it keeps growing. Your work will be:
- building new features in the portal, from a written spec to release
- improving screens that customers already use every day
- fixing bugs that come in from support
- writing tests, and keeping the code tidy for the next person
You join a small product team. Every change goes through code review, so you get feedback and you give it.
Who fits this role
This is a mid-level role. That usually means two to four years of commercial web development, and a habit of finishing what you start. In practice the client is looking for someone who:
- is comfortable with a modern front-end framework and the code behind it
- can pick up an existing codebase they did not write
- asks questions early instead of guessing
- writes clear pull requests and reads other people's carefully
Experience in fintech or banking is a plus, not a requirement. Careful work matters more here than speed alone, because customers see every change.
The terms
- Contract: fixed-term, 3–6 months
- Gross pay: €2,500 a month
- Start: as soon as possible
